"Conduct a survey in your community on the redressal mechanisms available to adolescent girls when faced with adolescent. Present your findings along with ideas for appropriate redressal mechanisms and sharing your community and with your district/Block /Child Protection Officer in your city."

Experience -  

At first they couldn't figure out how to conduct the survey in their community, but gradually they realized that they can start conversation with their peer group through their discussion they found that eve teasing is very common issue in their area. Most of them has, smart phone.Due to smart phone ,they are getting chance to friendly with each other and audio-visually communicate with each other ,not even friendly but got chance to meet and having early sexual pleasure, Finally They make a very beautiful questionnaire on the basis  of eve teasing prevention or How to minimise eve teasing among their peer group. .They realize and share the idea among themselves and other cross section in their community. Work is continuing and through their work they associated with other friends. Elders are supporting and encourageing them to continue stop eve teasing activity

 

Learning –

  1. .Don’t feel shy and start communication ( with in and with others)
  2. More confident about themselves and increase self esteem
  3. Avoid shyness and become vocal
  4. Everybody is respectful, don’t disrespect to anyone.
  5. Build peer group and utilize the value of unity, through those principal ,we can bring changes in our life and remove evils from society.

 

Challenge-

During the starting of the task they faced some hurdles, few of them expressed below:

  1.  They got less support from their family. They realises that family support is very important for such type of community development activities.
  2.  Since it was their first task, they are lacking confidence.
  3. In the beginning they got criticized among their peer group. due to that they lost their friendship .
