Task – (FD1CS1) – List out at least 5 acts/laws in the Constitution of India that are related to protection of children. With the help of your school teachers, select any one and design and facilitate a sensitization session with your classmates.

Experience –

The peers listed out 5 acts/laws in the Constitution of India that are related to the protection of children. As per their understanding on above following, they highlighted following points:

1. Rights to Education
2. Say ‘NO’ to child labour
3. Say ‘NO’ to child marriage
4. say ‘ NO’ to child abuse
5. Ensuring proper care to every child

With the help of their teacher, they selected “Say ‘NO’ to child marriage” point and facilitate a session with their classmates. During the session they pointed out that though there are rules and regulations to stop child marriage but many people don’t abide by the rules, so it is everyone’s duty to aware the people to make them more conscious. They also pointed out that if any of them notice any such incidents they must inform police to stop them.

Learning-

Through this task they came to know about the Child Rights. Through this task, they gained a lot of courage and confidence.

Challenges-

They faced a lot of problems because of their lack in confidence level. They were afraid to facilitate such a session and to speak in front of a mass.
